JavaScript Job: Junior Software Engineer - Deals (f-m-d)

Mission - Your mission is to build products for our deals business as part of our Deals Digital initiative.

Impact & Responsibilities - You are responsible for the architecture and development of solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact. You lead designs for major software components, systems, and features. You also design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software. The design of scalable, high performance solutions that continuously handle lots of data and enable data scientists to analyze data at scale also belongs to your responsibilities. You are familiar with cloud environments, specifically with Azure.

Work together - You mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards. You work with internal stakeholders to understand their needs. You will implement best practices and provide feedback to team members through peer reviews.

You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field some experiences in Software engineering roles through for example internships. Ideally with architecting and developing large scale distributed system designs (e. g. Spark, Flink, ...).

You are skilled in Java, Javascript and/or Python, Scala or similar languages and frameworks like Angular, Vue.Js, Flutter or React.Js for frontend development and Django, Node.Js for backend development.You have worked with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Hive, Kafka, Spark or similar technologies and cloud native services like Azure ML studio, AKS, CI/CD Pipelines in a DevOps context.

You are enthusiastic, have a go-for-it attitude and want to deliver quickly and iterate fast. When you see something broken, you can't help but fix it.

You are a team player and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams. You like to share your knowledge and experience and can document all the things so you don't need to learn the same thing twice.
